Our Main Objectives

1- Sustainable, continuous support of the elderly to benefit better health and social welfare.
2- Continuous effort to make senior citizens more sensitive to their own affairs in the society. The opportunities and threats facing them; and to encourage them to participate actively in social activities.
3- Awareness raising and sensitization of the authorities to the affairs related to the senior citizens, and the dimensions of forthcoming challenges.
4- Encouraging involvement of the senior citizens in all social activities and gatherings that are related to their own affairs, specially the elderly social policy making and planning councils.
5- Take measures to remove obstacles against effective collaboration of the senior groups in the social and economic development of the country.
6- Implementing preventive measures to avoid complications related to the old age and promoting senior’s health through public education and encouraging healthy life style.
7- Development and expansion of senior’s clubs equipped with adequate facilities designed for elder’s physical activities.
8- Taking necessary measures to facilitate seniors best use of their time through encouraging the authorities to establish and expand seniors' clubs throughout the country.
9- Advocacy to address the needs of the seniors in urban developmental plans and activities so that their social presence is facilitated and enhanced.
10-  Support and advocacy to encourage organizations, authorities and donors to establish and develop health care and rehabilitation facilities designed for the seniors.
11- Facilitating participation of related skilled staff in training programs to develop capacities needed to achieve the society goals.
12- Supporting senior citizens to benefit all welfare programs including expanded coverage of insurance systems especially complementary insurance.
13-  Providing support to the families with disabled seniors through specific programs and interventions.
14- Holding training programs and seminars; preparing booklets and using available media to educate for a physical and mental healthy life.
15- Regular quantitative and qualitative assessment of the needs of the elderly; the efficacy and efficiency of the interventions and program evaluations carried out by qualified academicians and research groups.
16- Collaboration with and support of all the organizations that their objectives and activities are somehow in line with objectives of the society.
